Moments after the terrifying September 11 attacks, U.S. air space was closed, but flights headed here didn’t have enough fuel to return home safely. Some 7,000 passengers and crew members were stranded in Gander, Newfoundland — a tiny town that opened its arms to the folks who had no other place to go. Come From Away tells the remarkable true stories of some of those passengers and townspeople. Our production of this Tony and Olivier award-winning musical marks the 25th anniversary of September 11.
