For almost 60 years, Chickasaw Civic Theatre has relied on the generosity of theatre lovers to present a season of wonderful shows.

Bringing great shows to the stage is expensive — far beyond the income from ticket sales. Since the founding angels — Royce Monk, Charles Monk, Lynette Smith Grenade, Gerry Persons, Bill Persons, Patsy Stinson, and Leslie Stinson — organized CCT, it has depended on the generous support of the community. We might need extra funds for an orchestra or a great set for a special show like Les Misérables or for the flying gear that makes Mary Poppins come alive. Sometimes we need to update lights and sound equipment. Sometimes the building needs sprucing up. And sometimes the extra expenses are the same mundane ones we all face at home — air conditioning that conks out in July or a roof that lets the rain right inside. When you make an extra donation, you can be sure that the funds will be used to make the theatre a safer and more comfortable place to see engrossing drama, hilarious comedy, and memorable musicals. We appreciate any help you can provide.
